New Joint Patch for Waga HLakgo & Elauwit Chapters

This patch is for the Apopka Shores District of Central Florida Council. The District was a merger of two districts as of January 2010 and the two chapters involved do not merge till May 2010 officially. This is why the Cook-o-ree has both chapter names on it. The OA has no specific role in the camp-o-ree.

The non-staff patch will sell for $4 each and if you are interested in any, please let me know. Their are a limited number of staff patches available and those are $10 each for purchase. All proceeds of the patch go to help fund the cook-o-ree.

The event is March 5-7, 2010 at Rybolt field @ Camp La-no-che. If you like food this is the event to join. They are having a chili cookoff and many other events throughout the day. Look forward to a great weekend.

New Elauwit Chapter Patch Tipisa 326

Elauwit Chapter Patch

This is the newest patch for the chapter.

The chapter is being split in half approx. part of the chapter is going to Takachsin and the other part is going to Waga-Hlkago chapter, in May 2010. The District split in January 1st, 2010.

The chapter expects to make a death patch as the final chapter patch. It's design and approx date available are not known. It is known the chapter will have its name on a Spring Cook-o-ree patch coming out in early March 2010. This patch is for the new district where Waga-Hlkago resides.

The current patch is available from the chapter for $4 each. If you are interested in purchasing please let me know and I can help you get the patches.

December 2009 Vigil Reunion Follow-up

Thank you to all who attended the 2009 Vigil Reunion held at beautiful Camp La-no-che.

We had approx. 45 people in attendance.

The 2010 Vigil Reunion at the Council Office in Apopka, FL on December 18, 2010.

Fun, Food and Fellowship was had by all. If you ordered a vigil medal dangle it is being made and should be ready by our Spring Conclave March 19-21st. It will be mailed if you are not in attendance to pick it up. If you want to attend or need help registering let me know and I will help in any way.

Thank for a great reunion and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

Tipisa 2010 National Jamboree Flap

Tipisa Lodge 326 2010 National Jamboree Lodge Flap

This is the new Tipisa 2010 National Jamboree Lodge Flap. The flap should be coming out (for sale) at the Tipisa Spring Conclave March 19 - 21, 2010. They are to be sold for $3 each. 12/19/09 Tipisa Lodge 2nd Annual 2009 Vigil Reunion

Hello All,

The 2nd Annual Tipisa Vigil Reunion will be held on December 19th, 2009 @ Camp La-no-che in the William T Bland Dining Hall.

Time: 10am - 1pm

We will have the Tipisa Lodge Museum open as well as the Lodge box for you to get all your Tipisa supplies. The Tipisa Lodge Museum does have a couple of needs and will be available to accept donations.

Also if you are interested in bringing out your patches, pictures and any other items for a “show and see” you are welcome to do also.

The food is going to be catered by the CampMasters of Camp La-no-che. You will have a choice of Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Fries and other items.

If you have any changes to your address, email, phone, BSA ID or anything else please let me know so I can update our records.

This is the same as last year you do not have to be currently registered in the lodge to attend.
